I have a new position and it's definitely worth sharing. I'm an A&R Scout for MajorLabelScout.com! I found out this week and I'm so excited about this new opportunity. So thanks for the support. If you need to contact me on a business level, send an email to djscorpia@unuradio.com. You can also contact me through myspace.
So if you're an Indie artist and think you have what it takes to be a real force in the industry, then shoot me an email. I won't make any promises, but I can definitely take out time to listen and see what you got!

Tungsten Coil Setting Up
Madness on 6th StreetThe Tungsten Coil show was so freaking awesome!! I got to the show while the band was still setting up. Prior to me arriving I left Eric a voicemail to let him know I was coming. I anticipated some guys that were maybe not as cool as they seemed. Boy was I wrong, they were very gracious, Dimitri was such a sweetie and Eric's presence was cosmic. The performance was very engaging with bad ass drum skills and vocals that put my favorite band to shame. I'm not going to say the bands name, because I must stay loyal. If you're ever in Austin, look them up and definitely check out the show!
The Mendella show was refreshing! They reminded me of a younger version of the White Stripes. I was walking by and these two cute chicks with accents to die for invited me to come in and check out the performance. I told them that I'm cool with Graystar and they were like, " OMG, I love them!" They took me to the band's manager and I handed him a business card. Yes, professionalism is always key when trying to become successful. So I stayed for most of the show and was sure to give my compliments to their manager.
So that's about it, I was a little twisted I must say, but the performances were memorable! I hope that my hard work and commitment to make the station bigger and better was a success. I totally believe in every artist that's on the station, so keep the music submissions coming.

B.A.M.N. Performs at Beso Cantina SXSW
By All Means Necessary
My whole goal of going to SXSW was to gain exposure for the station, but to experience untapped talent first hand. I will make it an annual tradition, hopefully the station will have a booth by then. Hell, maybe my Indie label will be up and running and I'll have a talent showcase. Ok, so I'm getting ahead of myself, but a girl can dream! Anywho, this band was an absolute delight, not only did they perfom original songs, but they did covers of great 80's hits like: " Take on Me" and " 18 to Life" as well as " Lose Yourself" and In Da Club". I'll be adding their EP to the rotation on the station, so be sure to tune in on Wed, where I will be showcasing some of the tracks.
