Join The Vespa Experiment....We Can All Make A Difference

The Vespa Experiment
Music. Greenpeace. Vespa. A collaboration To Stop Global Warming.

In the midst of these deeply troubling times, every day people are joining forces to make a real and positive difference in the world. We have reached a critical “tipping” point. Our thoughts, choices and actions impact the world directly every minute of every day. We cannot satiate every impulse, satisfy every craving and at the same time pretend we are working towards world peace or saving the earth. The time to do something is now.

Three Vespas and the Truth
The Vespa Experiment’s primary mission is to send a message to stop global warming using the power of music. Co-founders Jason Reeves and Brendan James will be joined by their friend and ally, Amber Rubarth, on this purposeful ride.

Supported by Greenpeace, the three artists will ride Vespas up the California Coast, honoring the natural beauty of the West and performing at traditional (club) venues, as well as on mountaintops, beaches and town centers. For two weeks they will engage their fans in thought-provoking ways, through music and honest dialog, while living as simply as possible by camping along the way. In a modern twist, they will film a documentary as they travel, posting daily footage to the web so fans at home can follow along. Fans will be able to communicate with the artists in a communal dialog as they seek to change the world together.

UH HUH HER

I was more than excited to post this morning!! Me and my friends attended the UH HUH HER concert last night here in Houston and it was mad hysteria. If you've never heard of them then you're not a crazed Indie fan like myself, just kidding! I was screaming like a 15 yr old, then again I did have two black X's on my hands to signify that I'm under 21. It was really messed up, because I couldn't find my DL, so the only way to not hold up the line and further embarrass myself, I said stamp me!! I'm even more excited that I got my CD and poster autographed by them.

Camila Grey and Leisha Hailey was just on point, they performed all of their songs from the new album hitting stores in August. It was such a delight and to share it with my closest friends was even better! You can go to their sites and get the tour schedule. If the band is in your town by all means go see them. Oh yea, mad props to the drummer who had bad ass skills!

The opening act was really good as well. Her name is Angie Mattson. You can go to http://www.angiemattson.com/ and learn more info.
